How African SMEs can leverage the AfCFTA for growth

Economies all over the world lost trillions of dollars due to COVID-19, with small and medium sized businesses being heavily impacted. However, SMEs are set to be one of the winners, with the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Featuring on CNBC South Africa Power Lunch show on Thursday 21st January 2021, anchored by Godfrey Mutizwa, the Secretary General All Africa Association for Small and Medium Enterprise Dr Ebiekure Jasper Eradiri reeled out the various programs for SMEs across Africa.

He gave a brief history on the establishment of AAASME as well as its role as a vehicle to drive the SME component of the African Union SME strategy for the continent and the AFCFTA agenda.

with membership cut across all the regions of Africa, AAASME has the capacity and the wherewith all to tackle the various challenges facing SMEs with collaborations with different organisations.
