Engr. Dadiowei Kingsley Akpeti is a trained Chemical Engineer with several years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry. He previously served on one of the deep offshore platforms operated by Chevron Corporation, one of the world’s leading energy companies, where he gained extensive technical and management expertise.

He was also a pioneer member of the Planning Committee for the inaugural Africa SME Roundtable, contributing to initiatives aimed at strengthening the small and medium-scale enterprise ecosystem across Africa.

Beyond his corporate career, Engr. Akpeti is an accomplished entrepreneur. He founded Spotless‑in‑Minutes, a private sector enterprise under the Minutes Group, specializing in Facility Management and Construction services.

He currently resides in Houston, where he lives with his family.

Engr. Akpeti brings to the board of AAASME a wealth of experience, proven entrepreneurial success, and a strong commitment to SME development. Over the years, he has played several active roles in advancing SME growth across Africa and has consistently advocated for greater integration of the African diaspora in building a thriving SME ecosystem across Africa, the Caribbean, and other regions with significant populations of African descent.

With his extensive experience, networks, and resources, Engr. Akpeti is poised to add significant value to AAASME as he leads the Diaspora Team in his role as Vice President, Diaspora.
