The All Africa Association for Small and Medium Enterprises(AAASME) – A continental umbrella advocacy body and non-govemmental organization headquartered in Mauritius.

AAASME has been spearheading the cause and development of Small and Medium Enterprses (SMFs) since its incaption in 2018. It has emerged, over the years, as a strong voice and one of the most representative, effective and leading organizations invoking partnership as well as patronage with Africa Union Commission amongst others working towards the promotion of SMEs in the continent.

How we started

AAASME was inaugurated on March 1, 2018 by the President of the World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME) with representation from the five (5) Regions in Africa on the Executive board. The structure of the organizations provides for the Secretary-General who administers the Secretarial Affairs, five (5) Vice Presidents coordinating/superintending over the Regions while the President chairs the entire Executive Council.

Today, The All Africa Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (AAASME) is a non-governmental organization and advocacy body with the objective to promote, support and develop the SME ecosystem in Africa.
